Who we are

What we collect and why

Name and email address, when you ask for the free workbook or buy the 30-day edition, so we can send your download and the occasional email. Basis: consent, and performance of our contract with you.

Reader stories, whatever you choose to share with us, so we can read it and, with your permission, publish it. Basis: consent.

Article feedback and support messages, so we can improve the writing and answer you. Basis: legitimate interest.

Technical data, IP address, device and browser details, and basic usage information collected by our hosting, so we can keep the site secure and working. Basis: legitimate interest in security and service quality.

We never see or store your card details. Payment information is collected and processed directly by Paddle.

Who we share it with

Service providers who host the site and database and send our email; Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the workbook, payments, invoicing and tax compliance; professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers where needed; and public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Stories are kept while published and removed on request. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Anything no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, get a portable copy, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. Email jessie.trochez@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information.

We use essential cookies and local storage needed to run the site and complete checkout. Paddle sets cookies during checkout to process your payment and prevent fraud. You can clear cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential ones may break checkout.
